Gary R. Goodhile, CLU
Gary is a principal and co-founder of Sullivan Benefits. He has spent his entire 25-year career solving the employee benefit challenges of midsized employers headquartered primarily in New England.

With an extensive health and welfare benefits background, Gary brings an intimate understanding of the local managed care marketplace and expertise in the area of self-funded plan design, administration and stop loss to his current role with Sullivan Benefits. He was trained as an underwriter and utilizes these skills learned early in his career to negotiate the most favorable terms possible for his clients. Prior to forming Sullivan Benefits, he was the Northeast Regional Sales Vice President for Allmerica Financial’s Employee Benefit Services Division.

Gary holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College in Bryn Mar, PA. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Economics from Springfield College. Currently he is enrolled in the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program co-sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Gary is a member of the Fallon Community Health Plan broker advisory panel, the Northeast Human Resource Association and the New England Employee Benefits Council. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Central Massachusetts chapter of the March of Dimes. In 2007, he was recognized as the March of Dimes Massachusetts Volunteer of the Year.
